Our energy efficiency division is experienced auditing, designing, managing and executing energy efficiency projects of all sizes. Our projects include lighting and mechanical solutions. We assist our companies with the utility company incentive programs to assist with project funding. We deliver solutions that maximize the return on investment for our clients.

The Energy Efficiency Consultant will be responsible for conducting energy audits, submitting paperwork to the utility company for incentives, and presenting the project to the client. Position Summary: 

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing and completing bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator is responsible for estimating projects and works with other Estimators, suppliers, and customers to complete the estimate. The Estimator is responsible for developing and completing project-specific estimates and early project viability assessments for clients’ bid-type requests. You will be involved with overall cost analysis and pre-project and post-project reviews.

 

Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:

·         Review specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials for an estimate.

·         Produce estimates takeoff by using various methods (comprehensive, median, historical, conceptual).

·         Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for accuracy with plans and specifications.

·         Meet with Project Management and operations to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes, and other aspects for a successful transition.

·         Responsible for the timely completion of all estimates and client-required documents.

·         Write scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.

·         The responsibilities describe the general nature and scope of work being performed. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
